TRADITION
JMK is a second-generation family business based in Montreal, Canada. For more than four decades, our hand-crafted leather accessories have been sold under the labels of high-end department stores and boutiques across North America. In 2014, we decided to bring our own classic and innovative styles to the public, and the Maison JMK brand was born.
Craftsmanship
Every JMK piece is crafted by the hands of an expert cordwainer, using Mediterranean leatherworking techniques perfected over centuries, and handed down from master to apprentice. Maison JMK uses no automation or mass production. Every cut, stitch, and rivet, right up to the pressing of the JMK signature stamp into each finished product, is done by hand.

GRAIN LEATHER
This is the essence of leather, what it is supposed to look and feel like. If you are looking for an easy leather to maintain, this may be the best choise for you. Our grain leather boasts a polished finish and a soft hand feel, making it a great choice for any leather connoisseur.

Maison JMK only use high quality Italian calf leathers. Italy’s tanneries still use the traditional leatherworking techniques earning them the global reputation of having the best quality leather. Natural and dyed grain leather show imperfections in the skin and are part of its charm and allows it to age beautifully looking great for many years.

EMBOSSED (black) CROCODILE LEATHER
Embossed crocodile is a top grain embossed crocodile design. Drum dyed through base crust, hand applied aniline dye and antique effect. Hand glazed at final to have high shine. Colors will vary due to the hand made aniline dye process. Its glossy finish and perfectly embossed texture gives it the elegance to stand out.

SAFFIANO LEATHER
Saffiano leather was first dreamed up in one of Italy's most famous tanneries and was a signature and patent of established design house Prada. Since its first appearance in the world of fashion it has flourished into one of the most sought after leathers in the world.
Saffiano leather is made from the highest quality calf leather. The name Saffiano comes from the cross hatch print that is pressed into the wax that coats the leather. This elegant leather is as durable as it is beautiful: this leather is water, stain and scratch resistant.
